Person-Centred Integrative Oncology Support

Integrative oncology is a patient-centred, evidence-informed approach to cancer care that thoughtfully combines conventional treatments with complementary therapies—such as mind-body practices, supportive nutrition, and restorative movement—to enhance your overall wellbeing throughout the cancer journey.

It uses evidence based and evidence informed interventions like nutrition, exercise, meditation, acupuncture, yoga, massage, etc.
not as alternatives, but alongside treatment to help:

Optimize quality of life

Manage symptoms

Strengthen emotional wellbeing and resilience

Support physical function and recovery

Endorsed by Leading Cancer Authorities

In 2017, the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) formally endorsed the evidence-based clinical practice guidelines from the Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO), recognizing the safe, effective use of therapies such as meditation, yoga, music therapy, acupuncture, and massage during and after breast cancer treatment.

In 2023, ASCO and SIO collaborated again on updated guidance emphasizing mind‑body therapies and acupuncture for supporting symptoms like anxiety, depression, and pain—further validating integrative oncology as an essential element of comprehensive cancer care.
